Happy Everything - AHSC - Sketch 84

I have been on a roll lately and the cards have been coming together so easily for me. This week I did have some help, I have a little helper in my scrapbook room with me. My oldest daughter is 7 and loves all things creative and crafty so I she got her hands dirty with me and did some creating with me.

Having the sketch made that part easy as to what elements we needed but what the rest was up to us to come up with. I chose the Dotty for you papers and she chose the stamp set. I told her to pick one with flowers and she chose D1284 With Love.

We popped up the main flower to add a bit of dimension, my daughter is all about the pop dots these days. For the flower pot and the main flower we used an ink pad and the water blending pen. My daughter was so impressed that I stayed in the lines on the flower pot. I started the flower to show her how to use the water blending pen and off she went finishing off the flower. My daughter also chose the colours for the "Happy Everything" sentiment and it was her idea to the dots in the pear ink, something I never would have done. She also asked me to distress the edges in Sunset ink, so I did. My daughter definitely has a style all her own and our design ideas do not always see eye to eye and she always pushes me out of my comfort zone and it always seems to work, at least in my opinion.
