Back to School - AHSC #124

It is that time, school starts this week and it is time for the back to school cards for my girls teachers. I have 4 teachers this year to make cards for, does not sound like a lot but it can become quite daunting when you are on a deadline! I do not usually give the cards on the first day of school as to much is going on, I usually send it at the end of the first week so I have some time to get my cards done for this year!

Here is what I came up with for the first card:

I did not do any stitching on this card though I love the look of it, it just did not seem to work each time I tried it so I scrapped the idea for this card...it may show up on a different one though!

Are you glad school is back in? I am ready for the routine and having time to create while the girls are at school but I am going to miss the warm summer days swimming and playing outside...bring on the crisp fall air and pumpkin decor, fall is here!
