Peekaboo - Technique Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Peek-a-boo Technique Blog Hop! Tonight we have 10 Close to My Heart consultants participating. If you are joining me from Michelle Loncar you are in the right place. Tonight we are featuring projects that have a peek-a-boo element of some kind. I have 3 cards for you tonight.

First up I have a thank you card I made for my Mother In Law and her friends. I have been making cards for years and my Mother in Law has known this but with COVID she was unable in the beginning to go to the stores just for cards so I bundled up a bunch and sent them over to her house via my husband and she was in awe. She was so excited and began sending cards to all her friends to cheer them up and let them know she was thinking of them during this trying time. As the cards were making there way across Canada she started getting calls from her friends asking where she got the cards and where could they get some. So I am now in the business of supplying her and her friends with all kinds of cards, it is fun because I can create just about anything and it will appeal to someone she knows! This is one of those cards, I just did what I liked and what was fun, wanted it to have a fall feel as we are firmly in fall weather here. I used the Bloom and Grace papers and the Multi Square Windows and the Z3770 Bloom with Grace cardmaking stamp/thin cut set.

Next I have a card that was a special request. My mother in law needed a card for her grand nephews first birthday and my waterfall thin cut set appeared that day in my shipment, perfect timing so I played with that to create this card. I used the Party Time paper with the Wishing You Everything Stamp set. There are 4 pictures to show the progression of the waterfall. This is closed with all the flaps down....

This is showing the next panel...

And making sure I included that personalized for his 1st birthday....

And the last one....birthday....

And I have this one using the Tabbed Doors Thin Cut, Jolly Characters Thin stamp and coloured in with a lot of my Tri-Blend markers. I backed the thin cut with White Daisy and the black and red plaid paper from Comfort & Joy.
