Hello and welcome to the "Inky Fingers" blog hop tonight! We have 12 Close to My Heart Makers showcasing artwork where they got creative with inks we offer. If you are joining me from Lauren Moore, welcome!
Tonight I pulled out my Distress Oxide Inks and was playing with them but it was one of those days where all my ideas just did not work out for me. I started with this pattern on the bottom it is from a super old stencil I have and the Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks. I kept going back to it and nothing worked, so I tried some other ideas and yeah, they were huge fails so I came back to this, and then tried something else, before coming back to this pattern in the Peeled Paint. Please tell me I am not the only person who has these kinds of days?

I like that stenciled layer. It looks great. And yes I have days like that too!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, life happens... and you still have a lovely card. I think the ink "peeled paint" color plus your stencil actually looks like "peeled paint!"
ReplyDeleteI think we all have those moments! I actually really like this card, especially with the different greens.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card for the holidays - and no, you aren't the only one who has struggles like that. My entire weekend was that way!
ReplyDeleteI totally have been there... I think your card turned out really nice.
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, and you're definitely not alone in having "those" days!
