Hello There -Beautiful Ordinary Life - AHSC 689

Hello!

It is another Monday, and time for another Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge! It has been a long time since I did a slime line, and it was fun to play with this size again. I have always felt limited by how slender this card size is, but I love its length. This design made it easy to fill the length while still leaving some room for creativity with the width. And of course, this paper and these flowers, how amazing are they???

Beautiful Ordinary -Thanks a lot - AHSC 688

Hello!

I have continued playing with the Beautiful Ordinary papers. I love them! I know I say that a lot, but some paper packs are just so easy to use, and this is one of them. The colours are fabulous, the patterns all blend so well, I just love it.

Anyways, today I am back with a card I made using this DSP for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Life has been busy with the end of the school year and getting things in order with two off to college in the fall. I made a thank-you card, since you can never have too many lying around. i have included the sketch if you wish to play along too.

Happy Birthday - AHSC 681

Hello!

I have been busy working on some cards for some upcoming vendor shows, and this is another one. I am also trying to use up some stash; this was created with a CTMH Mix-In paper pack sold by Stampin' Up! The cattails remind me of the cottage. I love the feel of this card; it all reminds me of the lazy days of Summer at the cottage. I am so ready for those lazy days.

Stamps:

- Paper Pumpkin (do not recall which one)

Thanks a lot!

Hello! I am back with another card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC)!

I went stash busting for this card. I used the Full of Life papers to create the square design element. I am not the best at sizing the small squares and such for designs like this so I let my patterned paper do the heavy lifting for me.

Products Used: (all products Stampin’ Up! Unless otherwise noted)

Paper:

- Full of Life (retired)

Stamps:

- More Messages (retired)

Ink:

- Memento Tuxedo Black

Die Cuts:

- I believe the leaf die cut was an old CTMH one. I am not sure; it was in my pile of leftovers from previous projects.

Embellishments:

- 144220 Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Hi There! - AHSC #66 6

Hello!

We are heading into the last week of January already. I am thrilled. I am in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and we have had a ton of snow this winter, and if you know me, I could do without this much of it. I grew up in a warm-weather climate, and while I do love snow around Christmas, I really could do without this much of it all at once! At least it is pretty, and since I do my very best not to drive in it, means a lot of crafty time for me!

Getting crafty was easy using the Hobby Haven paper pack. There is just so much about it that really works for not just layouts but cards, too.

This sketch was a bit challenging for me. I kept trying to free-form the squiggles, and I just could not make it look cute at all, so after a few hours of varying attempts, I went with an easier route and just used patterned paper. I know what a cop out, but I really did try and just could not come up with anything I liked.

Monday, January 05, 2026

Hello Again!

Today I have a card for you that I made with the scraps from my Hobby Haven workshop. I have had fun playing with the light and bright colours after months of red and green and Christmas, it is a refreshing change of pace.

This DSP comes with two sheets of die cuts that make it super easy and fun to put together. I did cut the chair out of the paper, but the rest are die cuts.

Products Used: (all products Stampin’ Up! Unless otherwise noted)

Paper:

- 167201 Hobby Haven

Stamps:

 - 165471 More Messages

Ink:

- Memento Tuxedo Black

Markers:

Die Cuts:

- 165472 More Messages Dies

- 167213 Earthen Matte Dots

Magic and Wonder - AHSC 657

Hello! This week, I have two cards for you for the AHSC. I was making some cards for craft shows, and at the same time, trying to finish up some paper packs, I was able to finish off the retired Close to My Heart Christmas Story. While it felt great to finish off the paper pack, it was kind of sad because I loved that paper. I had small scraps and they were perfect for this week's sketch, so I used them up to finish off the paper pack.

Paper:

Stamps:

- Poinsettia Petals (retired)

Hi There - AHSC 646

Hello! I am back, still trying to get back into the back-to-school routine with 2 in High School at different high schools, they keep me hopping for sure!

So I was doing some cleaning and came across a very old paper pack from my CTMH days called Tickled Pink, and I had so little left, not enough for a layout, but I could get a few cards out of it, so I got playing, and this is one of the cards I came up with for some of the smaller scraps.
