Thankful Heart - AHSC #388

Today I have another card from Bloom with Grace which I am obsessed with! I love the sunflowers and just all of this paper. I will admit it was a bit overwhelming to me in the beginning but as I began to play with it I began to LOVE it!

I was trying to follow the sketch completely with the 3 different squares but as I looked at it like the one long piece and since the sketch is a starting point and we can alter them, I chose to stick with the long piece. It just worked better for what I was after with this card.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Bloom with Grace
- Espresso, Fern, and French Vanilla card stock

Thin Cuts:
- Stitched Rectangles

Ink:
- Espresso

Stamp:
- A Thankful Heart (retired)

Embellishments:
- Clear Sparkles

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my artwork tonight! To join the fun and play along with the sketch you can do so by clicking here!

Teeny Tiny - H2H Challenges

Hello and Happy Monday! This is my first Monday in 6 months with the kids back in school! I am not confident we wont get shut down, cases are on the rise but until then I am going to enjoy my break and craft, craft craft....while I can! I love my kiddos but the break and routine are nice!

Now onto my project! Today I have a card I made for the H2H Challenges Design Team and our challenge this week is Teeny Tiny! I have had this stamp set C1856 Little Buddies for a while and just have not had the time to play with it and was so happy that they are tiny little characters so I could create with it. Are they just not the cutest? And I did not even use them all, there is a fox, a hedgehog, a panda, a penguin, a kitty, and an owl, in addition to the cutie pies I used!

I felt if I put a character in each circle it might be a bit to much so I backed some of the circles with some of our new Lovely paper (isn't it so pretty?) I coloured all the little buddies with CTMH's Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. And used the Multi Circle Thin Cut to cut the Ballerina card stock.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH consultant. Happy Birthday - Stitched Together

Hello! I have a card for you today that I created for the AHSC design team. Today we have a fun sketch for you.

I did use up some retired products on this, as I mentioned in a previous post I am supplying my mother in law and many of her friends with cards so that they do not have to shop for those, one less thing to worry about when out shopping. So I know they can all use some birthday cards so I whipped this one up waiting for the girls to come home from school (first day of school in 6 months here!) I also used the stamp / thin cut combo Z3718 Stitched Together card making for the sentiment, birthday is stamped in Candy Apple ink.

Peekaboo - Technique Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Peek-a-boo Technique Blog Hop! Tonight we have 10 Close to My Heart consultants participating. If you are joining me from Michelle Loncar you are in the right place. Tonight we are featuring projects that have a peek-a-boo element of some kind. I have 3 cards for you tonight.

First up I have a thank you card I made for my Mother In Law and her friends. I have been making cards for years and my Mother in Law has known this but with COVID she was unable in the beginning to go to the stores just for cards so I bundled up a bunch and sent them over to her house via my husband and she was in awe. She was so excited and began sending cards to all her friends to cheer them up and let them know she was thinking of them during this trying time. As the cards were making there way across Canada she started getting calls from her friends asking where she got the cards and where could they get some. So I am now in the business of supplying her and her friends with all kinds of cards, it is fun because I can create just about anything and it will appeal to someone she knows! This is one of those cards, I just did what I liked and what was fun, wanted it to have a fall feel as we are firmly in fall weather here. I used the Bloom and Grace papers and the Multi Square Windows and the Z3770 Bloom with Grace cardmaking stamp/thin cut set.

Next I have a card that was a special request. My mother in law needed a card for her grand nephews first birthday and my waterfall thin cut set appeared that day in my shipment, perfect timing so I played with that to create this card. I used the Party Time paper with the Wishing You Everything Stamp set. There are 4 pictures to show the progression of the waterfall. This is closed with all the flaps down....

This is showing the next panel...

And making sure I included that personalized for his 1st birthday....

And the last one....birthday....

And I have this one using the Tabbed Doors Thin Cut, Jolly Characters Thin stamp and coloured in with a lot of my Tri-Blend markers. I backed the thin cut with White Daisy and the black and red plaid paper from Comfort & Joy.
