Share the Seasons - Stamp of the Month blog hop

Hello and welcome to our Stamp of the month Optional Blog Hop, this is where we gather to showcase how we Close to my Heart consultants are using our products, this time we are featuring the promotion for this month...Share the Seasons. If you are joining me from the amazing blog of Melissa Robinson or your starting the blog hop at my blog, welcome! If you get lost along the way, just click here!

I knew with it being a Seasonal product we would likely get a lot of Fall or Christmas themed projects using this set so I tried to come up with a non seasonal project and yet still use the thin cut and stamp set that came with it. I paired it with the Every Little Thing papers and I really love how it came out.

A Little Dose of Happy - AHSC 334

Hello again! Today I have a card that I did for my Every Little Thing workshop and I based it off the AHSC #334! I say based as I did not follow the sketch completely....

As you can see from my card and the sketch that I have moved things around a bit. I love the look of the flowers layered around the sentiment but when it comes to actually doing that, I am not very good at it and it usually looks like a hot mess.... So I decided to used a floral patterned paper and have it surrounding the sentiment, which I moved to the side a bit, I did not want to cover the flower, it is so pretty! The great thing about sketches is you can follow them 100% or use it as a road map to get started like I did!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH consultant. Wow - H2H Challenges

Hello! Welcome back again! Today I have a card for you from H2H Challenges. Our challenge this week is mixed fonts. What we are looking for is using different font styles on your project.

For my card, I used the August Stamp of the Month and random stamped the OMG, Yay!, and Whoa! in various ink colours (Julep, Wisteria, and Sapphire) and then I did a faint paint splatter affect using those ink pads and my water blending pen. I gathered up lots of ink off the lid of the stamp pad then I got the water blending brush good and wet and "tapped" it over the paper to create the splatter affect.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Every Little Thing
- Wisteria, Julep, Sapphire and White Daisy card stock

Stamp:
- S1908 From Me to You

Ink:
- Sapphire, Wisteria, and Julep

Embellishments:
- Clear Sparkles

Thanks - AHSC #332

Hello! Happy Wednesday! School is back in session here in my neck of the woods in Canada so that means time to get creative and to get to play with all my CTMH goodies.

Today I have a card for you that I did for the AHSC Design Team and it came together so quickly.  I used our new paper pack called Every Little Thing. I will be honest at first I was not a fan of this paper pack....BUTTTT now that I have it in hand and get to see it and play with it in person OMG it is so pretty and I have fallen in love with it. I paired this up with the Share the Seasons stamps set CC9192 Giving Thanks for the sentiment. I took our Wisteria (my new favourite ink colour) and on a square of White Daisy card stock I took a water blending pen and grabbed some ink off the lid and created the water colour effect. I stamped the thanks in Sapphire and added some black dots and Sapphire thread. This card came together in a matter of minutes.

Paper:
- Every Little Thing
- Sapphire, Wisteria, and White Daisy card stock

Embellishmwents:
- Black and White Dots
- Sapphire embroidery thread

Ink:
- Sapphire and Wisteria
