Love Bug - Oh My Heart - H2H Challenges

Hello and Happy Monday! Today I have a project for you for the H2H challenges blog and our theme is Oh My Heart, which is so perfect as Valentines day is right around the corner. I used my Oh My Heart paper pack from CTMH to create this super sweet layout. I made this for pictures of my youngest. Her nickname is "bug" or "buggy"! When our girls first moved in with us (we adopted) it was almost Halloween and she was a lady bug for Halloween that year and when people would ask what she was going to be for Halloween I often missed up and said a "Sadie Bug" as you can guess her name is Sadie, so from there it stuck and she is our sweet, sassy little buggy, bug-a-lug, Sadie bug, bugsy, and any other form of "bug". I also used to drive a Volkswagen "Bug" so the little car really spoke to me. It will be perfect for some of her sweet photos!

Products Used:

Paper:
- Oh My Heart
- Candy Apple, Ballerina, and White Daisy card stock

Embellishments:
- Black and White Gems

Cherishing Her -- February SOTM BH

Hello and welcome to the February Stamp of the Month blog hop! Tonight it is all about the stamp set, Cherishing Her. You should be joining me from the super talented
Katy Taylor if so, you are in the right place, welcome! If you are starting here with my blog, welcome! This blog hop works in a circle, just follow the links at the end of the blog posts to hop on over to the next blog and check out their terrific projects.

Now onto what I created with this stamp of the month:

I really had no plan for what I wanted to do with this card so I just stamped the floral image and started to colour and just decided to let it go where it went. I do not have a ton of markers so I had to make due with what I have. I decided to use Necatrine to mat this card because 1. I love orange and 2. I love how the orange flowers came out and wanted to help them pop. I decided to random stamp in Nectarine ink the small hearts that are included in this set.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Nectarine, Black, and White Daisy card stock

Stamp:
- S2002 Cherishing Her

Ink:
- Black Memento

Markers:

Tri Blend:
- Hydranga, Birhgt Pink, Lavender, Ice Blue, Dull Green, Gold Brown blends

Copic:
- G94 and G99
- YR04, YR07, and YR09

Shin Han:
- R11

Embellishments:
- Black Shimmer Trim

It is time to hop on over to the creative and talented Alyson Mayo and check out what beautiful creation she has for us!
Until next time, happy crafting!

Kinds of Amazing

Hello! Happy Monday to you! I am back with a project I created for the H2H challenge design team. The challenge this week is to use the CTMH colour Bluebird or a colour similar to it.

I created this card for my daughter, I will sneak it into her backpack tomorrow before school, she is going through a rough time with some of the kids at school and I want to remind her how amazing she really is! It also helps that her favourite colour is blue! I really wanted the message on this one to stand out so left it fairly simple.

Product Used:

Paper:
- Bluebird and White Daisy card stock

Stamp:
- S2001 Everyday Magic
- Splash of Color (retired)

Ink:
- Bluebird and Carolina

Embellishments:
- Black Shimmer Trim
- Calypso Sequins (retired)
