Happy Birthday Distance - AHSC 404

Hello and Happy Wednesday to you. Today I have a card I made using Sketch 404 from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge.

As you can see, I deviated from the sketch a bit. I tried to use flowers as it shows but every time I did the sentiment completely covered them and that made me sad so I went with a floral paper as a deviation but still having flowers in that panel. You do not have to have flowers there, you can use anything at all but I was working with Serenity and oh how I love those colours and flowers so I was inspired and rolled with it.

Products used:

Paper:
- Serenity
- No Worries (retired)
- White Daisy card stock

Ink:
- Sapphire

Stamps:
- S2012 With All My Love
- CC112026 Quarantine Christmas

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker. Striped Borders Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Close to My Heart Technique blog hop. Tonight consultants from all over will be showcasing project they created using Striped borders. Tonight we take borders, zip strips, scraps, stamps, all to make a striped border in our projects.  If you are joining me from Melissa Robinson you are in the right spot! If you are starting at my blog, welcome! If you get lost along the way and you need to start over, click here to go back to the beginning and for a full list of the hop participants.

For my project I created a Birthday card using our Mix in papers. I was not 100% sure what I was going to do or make but just started playing with the paper pack and letting it go where it took me. I did know I wanted to include some stamping on it and I found this cute little present and some hearts on the Winter Penguins set and thought that would make a great birthday present. So I did some random stamping, I had some space so I added the little pine needles in to bring some green in as I had enough hearts already. I coloured it using my water blending pen and ink from the ink pads. I really love how it turned out. I finished it off with some Gold Glitter Gems. For a full list of products used, see below.

Products used:

Paper:
- X9023 Mix In (Jan-Feb)
- White Daisy card stock

Ink:
- Canary, Toffee, Avocado, Espresso, and Peach
- Black Memento

Stamps:
- D1960 On Your Birthday
- Z3917 Winter Penguins

Hello! Today I have a project for you that I did for the AHSC Design Team. This card was created for my December workshop featuring the Serenity paper pack. I really loved working with this paper pack as blue is one of my favourite colours so it was easy and fun to play with.

As I have stated in some previous posts that we had so many people step up and help out while we were quarantined due to my husband having COVID and so I need a lot of thank you cards!

Together - H2H Challenges

Hello! Happy Monday and Happy New Year!

Today I have a layout for you. This is a layout that I did for my December workshop with the Serenity paper pack and I am using it for my design team project with H2H which the theme is Out With the Old, In With the New...the old is Serenity, it is retired as of December 31st but due to the holidays I am a bit behind in getting this workshop done, so you will continue to see it for a bit.

I just loved the blues and gold in this paper pack, so pretty and fun to work with! I did not any stamping on this layout, I do typically have stamping on my layouts but with doing porch drop offs for my workshop ladies, in some cases I can do all the stamping for them but this layout had lots of stickers on it so I did not think it needed more with stamping.

Products used:

Paper:
- Serenity
- White Daisy, Toffee, and Sapphire

Embellishments:
- Blue Belle Glitter Gems
