Thanks a Latte - H2H Challenges

Hello! This week at H2H challenges we are all about all things Pumpkin Spice! Now I will admit, I am NOT a fan of anything pumpkin flavoured so of course being a person who hates (I really do) all things coffee and pumpkin flavoured my first thought was Pumpkin Spice Lattes, of course right? So with that in mind, I got to creating and I was so inspired by Crafty Creations with Erin's video series "Easy to Embellished" that I just had to do my version of the cards she made. If you want to check out her series, which I highly recommend, just click here!

Sunflower Thinking of you - H2H Challenges

Hello and happy Monday to you. Today I have a very simple but (I think) stunning card. I think it is stunning only because I feel the stamp set is stunning, Sunflower Sympathy. I was fully inspired and lifted major elements of this card from the very creative and talented Laurel Seabrook.

The challenge this week is Sparkle! If you know me personally you will now I am anything but sparkly and bling. I am a jeans and white t-shirt kinda gal and avoid glitter and bling like the plague. So a challenge for Sparkle is not my cup of tea to be honest, but just because I am not a fan of bling does not mean my workshop ladies are not, in fact they for the most part LOVE bling! So where is the sparkle and shine you ask? It is here, I promise, I just do it in a subtle way!

Outside of the obvious, the 3 clear sparkles, I have hidden the sparkle here, I used the Gold Shimmer Brush to add just a hint of sparkle and shine to the sunflower. it is really hard to see in pictures but in person, it is very quite pretty.

Products used:

Paper:
- Toffee and White Daisy card stock

Ink:
- Memento Rich Cocoa

Colours:
- CTMH water blending pens (moss and sunflower) - retired

Embellishments:
- Clear Sparkles

Hawthorne - Cross Canada Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Cross Canada blog hop featuring the Hawthorn paper pack. Tonight consultants from across Canada are featuring what they have done with the Hawthorn paper pack to inspire you. If you are joining me from the very talented and super friendly Brae you are in the right place. If you truly want to go from east to west, click here and start with my good friend Michelle out in Nova Scotia! Now onto my project for you!

I just loved that not only is Hawthorn a great fall paper it is also a great masculine paper and the men and boys sadly do not get much love at much workshops as our paper is usually far to pretty for the boys....so when I do have a paper pack that can be about the men and boys in our life I jump all over it! Tonight is all about the dads and the worlds best dads...our dads!

Paper:
-Hawthorn
- Sapphire, Sangria, Sage, Saffron, Charcoal, Paprika, and Toffee card stock

So Thankful - Hawthorn - AHSC 337

Hello! Today I am back with a workshop card for you, this card will make its debut at my Hawthorn workshop on Saturday night (well it is making its debut now, but for my workshop ladies, they will get it on Saturday!)

When I saw this sketch from Michelle at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge I was so excited to play with it, it just seemed so sweet and I just loved it.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Hawthorn
- Sage card stock

Ribbon:
- Z4154 Cream Ribbon (retired)

So I created this with one piece of card stock, 1 piece of patterned paper, a zip strip and ribbon...how cool is that. It is a super simple card but I feel it is still very sweet and pretty too.
