It is all negative! H2H Challenge

This is one time being negative is a good thing. Our challenge this week at H2H is to use the negative space on a cut out. For this challenge I used my Cricut Artbooking and cut out the tree in Colonial White card stock and backed it with background paper.

I used an old retired paper pack called Twitterpated, I have had it for a few years and just felt it was the right paper for this project. The pictures going on this layout will be of our daughters at our cottage with the full fall foliage in the background behind them. I try not to post older products but it just worked so well for this project and I really need to use up some of my stash.

Products used:

Paper:
- Twitterpated (retired)
- Colonial White (retired), Sorbet, and Chocolate card stock

Embellishments:
- Brown Gems

Tools:
- Cricut
- Cricut Artbooking

Ink:
- Chocolate

Stamp:
- A Thankful Heart (retired)

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my project. I cant wait to see how you use the negative space of your project. Please feel free to share your project over at H2H challenges.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring 's SOTM, which is the Feel So Blessed Stamp of the month.  If you have come here from Alyson Mayo's blog
you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog here!

This month we have Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I made this card while I was on a kid free week at the cottage and it gave me some free time to do some experimenting. I always see cards with just a little something and and a sentiment, the less is more look and love them, but I always feel they are to simple when I make them and keep adding adding and adding to them. This time I challenged myself not to keep adding and I really love how it turned out!

Now "Hop" on over to Wendy Coffman's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the SOTM is only available until !  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!

Thanks!

Birthday Greetings - H2H challenges

Hello! Happy Monday! Today I have a birthday card that I made for the Jack workshop that I hosted on Saturday night. You will be seeing a lot of Jack over the next few posts.

I really enjoyed working with this paper, though I do not have any boys, I found it super easy to work with and had fun using it.

Today's project is the card is a birthday card with what I feel is a masculine feel to it, I mean it has a lumber jack on it! This week at H2H Challenges we are doing an Anything Goes challenge, the only requirement is that your project needs to have at least one CTMH product.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Jack
- Black, White Daisy and Slate card stock

Ink:
- Slate and Ruby

Tools:
- Water blending pen

Stamps:
- Just a Number
- Jack - Scrapbooking

We would love to have you join us at H2H challenges and see what goodness you can come up with. Please join us and post your project for us all to enjoy!

I welcome feedback, please let me know your thoughts.

Until next time, happy crafting!
