Hello! I am back with another card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC)!

I went stash busting for this card. I used the Full of Life papers to create the square design element. I am not the best at sizing the small squares and such for designs like this so I let my patterned paper do the heavy lifting for me.

Happy Birthday Pears - AHSC 675

HI again! 

I have another card from the Painterly Pear DSP. This was a fun card to create with the variation on a banner. This is also one of the 5 cards featured in my Kit of the Month for February. I know I say it all the time, but I really did have fun playing with this paper pack. A bit about me, I work from home and crafting is my stress reliever, so when I always say I have fun or I really enjoyed making a project, it is because I did, it takes me away from the stress of the day and some days I really need that escape.

Hi! This week, I have been playing with the beautiful Painterly Pears DSP. I have had it for a while, but have not had the time to cut into it until now. You will see more of this one as it is the first of my Kit of the Month classes. I absolutely love this paper. I did not "need," and I held off for a long time on getting it, and I am glad I did, it made the perfect paper for my first Kit of the Month club.

Hi There! - AHSC #66 6

Hello!

We are heading into the last week of January already. I am thrilled. I am in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and we have had a ton of snow this winter, and if you know me, I could do without this much of it. I grew up in a warm-weather climate, and while I do love snow around Christmas, I really could do without this much of it all at once! At least it is pretty, and since I do my very best not to drive in it, means a lot of crafty time for me! 

Getting crafty was easy using the Hobby Haven paper pack. There is just so much about it that really works for not just layouts but cards, too. 

This sketch was a bit challenging for me. I kept trying to free-form the squiggles, and I just could not make it look cute at all, so after a few hours of varying attempts, I went with an easier route and just used patterned paper. I know what a cop out, but I really did try and just could not come up with anything I liked.

Lots of Love - AHSC #665

Hello! Here is this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge project! Once again, I played with the Hobby Haven scraps from my December workshop. I loved this paper, I know, I know, I say that about all of them, but I really do, I love pretty paper, what can I say? 

I paired the spa-themed DSP with this sketch and a sentiment that says 'lots of love.'
