Hi There! - AHSC #66 6

Hello!

We are heading into the last week of January already. I am thrilled. I am in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and we have had a ton of snow this winter, and if you know me, I could do without this much of it. I grew up in a warm-weather climate, and while I do love snow around Christmas, I really could do without this much of it all at once! At least it is pretty, and since I do my very best not to drive in it, means a lot of crafty time for me! 

Getting crafty was easy using the Hobby Haven paper pack. There is just so much about it that really works for not just layouts but cards, too. 

This sketch was a bit challenging for me. I kept trying to free-form the squiggles, and I just could not make it look cute at all, so after a few hours of varying attempts, I went with an easier route and just used patterned paper. I know what a cop out, but I really did try and just could not come up with anything I liked.

Lots of Love - AHSC #665

Hello! Here is this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge project! Once again, I played with the Hobby Haven scraps from my December workshop. I loved this paper, I know, I know, I say that about all of them, but I really do, I love pretty paper, what can I say? 

I paired the spa-themed DSP with this sketch and a sentiment that says 'lots of love.'

My Crafting Era - Hobby Haven layout

Hello....today I have a scrapbook layout for you! 

For my December workshop, I was playing with the Hobby Haven DSP and had some fun with it. This one is all about crafting. If you look closely at the DSP, it has all kinds of craft items on it: sewing machines, embroidery, cross stitch, yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks, to name a few. Forever Friends - AHSC #664

Hello! Today I have a card for you for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #664. I used the Hobby Haven DSP to complete this week's card. I love the bright pop of the Pool Party on this one; it is so bright and cheery! 

I did flip this from the sketch by accident. I was not paying attention when I was putting the card together, and I put the circle on the opposite side of the card!

Hello Again!

Today I have a card for you that I made with the scraps from my Hobby Haven workshop. I have had fun playing with the light and bright colours after months of red and green and Christmas, it is a refreshing change of pace. 

This DSP comes with two sheets of die cuts that make it super easy and fun to put together. I did cut the chair out of the paper, but the rest are die cuts.
