Happy Anniversary - H2H Challenges

Hello! Happy Monday! I hope you are all staying safe and keeping a distance from each other, we are social distancing here and that means lots of time to scrap, when the kids allow it! Today I worked on my card for the H2H Challenges 10th Anniversary....yes, they have been around for 10 years. I have been on the Design team for at least 3 of those 10 years and I love it. I love that I have challenges and weekly goals to keep me going and scrapping!

So I made them an Anniversary card! I am truly honoured to be part of this talented group of paper crafters and I have enjoyed every minute so to my friend Haley Dyer and the entire H2H Challenges team....Happy Anniversary!

Keep on Swimming - AHSC 362

Hello! I hope you are all safe and that everyone is doing well in your friends and family circle. We are in some trying and very unusual times right now, everything about every day is heavy, sad, and unprecedented to say the least. I have made it a challenge for me to start flooding my loved ones with mail, for as long as mail is delivered.... I am hoping to spread some good will and cheer along the way...

And that is where this card comes from for the AHSC design team today. Keep on swimming...it is punny but fighting, we just need to keep on moving through this as best we can and for many people we love being cooped up, possibly alone is hard so if you can, send them so love in the mail to remind them that are important and that you are thinking of them.

Hello There - H2H Challenges

Hello There! How are we all doing these days? I hope you are hanging in there if you are practicing Social Distancing as we are here. It is a challenge for the kids, they want to be with their friends so bad but they are doing pretty good under these challenging times. For me, this is perfect...stay home...scrapbook (in-between chores, housework, cooking, entertaining kids, etc.)

Our challenge this week is paper tearing. This is a challenge for me as I live by clean lines, straight edges and want everything perfect. But I did tear a bit off the mint piece to add some visual interest.

I did this card with the message in the bottle because that is how I feel right now, isolated. It seems a bit weird to not seeing people every day, I can still chat, text, call, and "see" them on social media but it is just not the same so the message in a bottle just kinda stuck with me with all that is going on right now.

Happy Birthday Plane - H2H Challenges

Hello! Happy Monday to you! I have a challenge for you for this week from H2H challenges, it is to create a vintage inspired project using Close to My Heart products. Pretty simple right?

For my project I used the Yesterday and Today papers because they just have such a vintage or heritage vibe to them. I really love that about them. I also love this antique plane. I left the outside sentiment free but I did stamp Happy Birthday on the inside, I left it a bit generic so my workshop ladies can make it a note card or use birthday or thank you sentiments.

Products used:

Paper:
- Yesterday and Today
- French Vanilla, Toffee, and Espresso card stock

Ink:
- Espresso

Stamp:
- Z3703 Dreams take Flight stamp & thin cuts
- M1186 Happy Birthday (on the inside, not pictured)
