Love....H2H Challenges

This is a layout idea I have been wanting to do for a long time and I finally found the right paper pack and Hello Lovely just seemed to be the paper pack to try this out.  I took a class at a local scrapbook store Two Scrapbook Friends in Waterloo, ON.  and learned how to use my Silhouette Cameo to stitch on pages.

It may be a bit hard to tell but I the large heart is stitched. I do not sew, do not have a sewing machine and really do not want to buy one just for the few times I want to stitch on a page. I have enough tools, I do not need to add any more stuff in my scrapbook room but this technique fulfills my stitching needs.

Paper:
- Hello Lovely
- White Daisy, Fern, and Sorbet card stock

Ink:
- Sorbet
- Versa Mark

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. We would love to see what you come up with for the stitching challenge. You have until the end of the month to join in and play along.

Until next time, happy crafting....

Capture the Moment - H2H Challenges

Hello! How is summer going for you? It is just getting under way for us in Canada with schools getting out just last week. We have been going to the pool every day and are getting ready for some time at the cottage later in the summer, all this time around water is making me dream of the lazy days of summer before kids when I could go to the beach with friends and just relax and lay on the sand with the water sounds lapping against the shore.....now with kids not so relaxing but still a ton of fun!

This week at H2H Challenges we are all about the paper pack No Worries which is a very tropical beachy theme...dragging me more into my dreams of laying on the sand doing nothing at all....lol

I whipped up this card quickly for a friend who is about to embark on a new adventure in a more tropical environment (I am so jealous!)

Life is worth .... AHSC 218

So I am finally getting the chance to play with No Worries. Growing up where I did by the ocean this paper pack just speaks to me. I love living in Canada and I love the 4 season (winter could be shorter though...just saying!) but I really do love and miss the ocean. Cottage country in Canada is amazing, beautiful and tranquil and I do love it but there is a mystic to the ocean, the smell of the salt water, sand, and the crashing waves are just a part of me.

Colourful Life - H2H Challenge

Hello and happy Monday! Today we have a new challenge for you from Heart 2 Heart challenges....water colouring.

I have a love / hate relationship with the water colour paints that CTMH offers. I love playing with them, they are so fun but I hate that I am not comfortable playing with them. I like things to be a certain way and you can not control the water colour paints as much as you can ink. But I love that they take me out of my comfort zone and makes me try new things.

On the layout below the title is done with the water colour paints.

Products used:

Paper:
- Little Dreamer
- Thistle, Tangerine, Blossom, Glacier, White Daisy, and water colour paper

Ink:
- Thistle, Blossom, Tangerine, Glacier, and Lemon

Embellishments:
- Little Dreamer Glitter Gems

Stamp:
- Little Dreamer Scrapbooking Thin Cuts

Thanks so much for stopping by, we would love to see what fabulous creations you come up with using the water colour paints.

Until next time, happy scrapping....
