Christmas Card Blog Hop

Welcome to our CTMH Christmas Card Blog Hop!  We will be featuring Christmas cards made with any of the current CTMH papers.

If you have come here from Miss Carrie's Creations's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog:  http://ifyoublingit.blogspot.com/p/stamp-of-month-blog-hop-list.html.

This month we have Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I chose to use Silver and Gold for my project because, well I am a traditionalist and I firmly believe that red and green are Christmas. I am not even a fan of various shades of red or green for Christmas. I like Cranberry or Ruby for the red and Fern or New England Ivy for the green shades. So this black, white, grey, and gold has been bothering me to say the least. I was telling my workshop ladies I was not planning on using it as it was not traditional colours and they asked to see it and when I showed them they all loved it and I mean LOVED it! So I guess the issue is with me so I am breaking WAY out of my Christmas comfort zone and went against the rogue and used none traditional colours on a Christmas card and guess what, I don't hate it. I actually quite like it (otherwise it would not have made the cut...lol) It came together quite quickly. I am beginning to think this workshop may not be as challenging for me as I thought it would be...which is good because my customers want it, I will do it, anything for them!
