Technique Hop - Anything Goes!

Hello and welcome to the Technique blog hop tonight we are having a bit of fun and doing an anything goes theme...so there will be a variety of different techniques. If you are joining me from the super talented Haley Dyer, welcome.

Tonight I tried two techniques, one that I have never done and one that I have but use rarely because I don't often think about it. Here is my layout, it is for my Isabella workshop and the first layout.

Technique 1 - Tone on Tone stamping. On the Sage card stock, I random stamped the large bloom and a small leaf stamp from the Isabella Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cut set and I used Sage ink so that was a subtle touch.  Here are some close ups of the random stamping.

Technique 2: Colouring Acrylic shapes.  I have heard of others trying and I have been meaning to try it but never really got around to it, until today! I really felt like the White Dots were working on the layout but that I also needed some more pops of the Lemonade colour so I got out my Citrus Blend tri-blend markers and coloured away. I have to say, I love it! I love how easy it was to customize my white acrylic shapes to fit the needs of my layout.
