Warm Winter Wishes - AHSC 552

 I LOVE this new Evergreen paper pack, OMG I love the pine sprigs, pine cones, and the different tones of greens, it is so pretty. I have just dabbled with cards, but I hope to get the layouts done this week for my December workshop...yeah for scrappy time for me!

Any hoots, back to the card, I created this one for this week's AHSC (sketch below) it is not exact but close enough, I just felt the pine cones blended into the Toffee piece I originally planned on using for the sentiment so I added the white stitched circle to give some colour separation.

Holiday Magic - AHSC 551

Hello! How are we approaching the halfway point of November already? I am so not ready for Christmas! Ok, I am ready with my holiday cards but not the shopping and decorating or all the other stuff that goes with Christmas!

I have a card for you this week, that features the Silver Bells paper pack, I have been loving playing with this paper pack and I did struggle with the tans and greys but it just works, I tend to be a very matchy matchy type of person this was stepping out of my comfort zone for sure!

Evergreen Christmas

I just got the new Evergreen cardmaking kit and I will be honest, I got it just for the Pinecone thin cuts! Don't get me wrong I do love the papers but those thin cuts are so great that I had to have them! I started this card using the AHSC for this week but I moved my phone so was not watching the sketch to closely and missed some key design pieces so stay tuned for another project more closely matching that sketch!

Hey There - The Good Life

Hello! I am back, August was just insane and it flew by so fast and I barely got any crafty time in at all but now that school is back my goal is to be more dedicated to my crafty time and business. 

I had just finished working on my workshop for The Good Life and I had the Harbour coloured die cut on my desk (I used the die cut for the leaves in my workshop and this piece was left over and I knew I needed a card for the Atlantic Hearts Design team so since I love the colour and the die cut I decided to figure out and make it work with the sketch. 

So you can see I changed things up a bit, I did a slimline card rather than an A1-sized card, I replaced the oval with a rectangle, and I did try the oval but it got lost in the gingham piece as it was pretty small. I also added a second flower cluster to the top of the rectangle.

Hello! It's Monday and time for another project for the AHSC! This week I pulled out the Cozy Up card making kit again and had some fun. I did some tone on tone stamping on the card stock and used my ink pads with water blending brush to colour in the leaves. I added Gold Shimmer brush to all the leaves except the green ones.

Cozy Up - Thanks so much - AHSC 535

 Happy Wednesday! I am a bit late posting my project this week, I have a card featuring Cozy Up! I used the card making workshop for this one. The minute I saw the idea book this was a must have purchase for me and I finally got it in my hands and just had to play with it! 

For the Leaf cluster I stamped everything in Intense Black and with a water blending brush I coloured leaves with Pine, Honey Butter, Papaya, Rosemary, and Scarlet. I then covered Honey Butter, Papaya and Scarlet leafs with a gold shimmer brush, it is hard to tell the in the picture but looks great in person! For the splatters I used the Glitter Gloss Spray.
