Counting my blessings - H2H Challenge

The theme this week at Heart 2 Heart challenges is Count your blessings. For me my family is my greatest blessing. It has not been an easy road at all, and it has been a long long road for us to become a family, a road we are still travelling. Adoption is not for the faint of heart I have come to learn but it is worth all the work, effort, heart ache, late nights, early mornings, worry, school meetings, and countless (but fun) play dates. I love my family...yeah they drive me bonkers from time to time but I really really do love my husband and my girls. I am thankful for my family and I count them amongst my greatest blessings!

Through the Year - November SOTM blog hop

Here is my project for the month. I love that this stamp set is a fun funky font and it is great for adding a bit of date journaling to any projects. I added a few of the different leaves to add some additional touches I like that the leaves are on the smaller side in this set it makes it great to pair with other stamp sets as leaves come in all different shapes and sizes.

Happy Birthday - AHSC #236

Happy Birthday! I tend to make a lot of birthday and thank you cards because well, I use those the most. This is another one I made for my Falling for you card workshop. As I said in a previous post, I was very drawn to this diagonal striped paper.

A Perfect Autumn Day - H2H Challenges

While I am a summer girl, I love the beach, days at the pool and the warm weather, I do love when the days switch over to Fall and the colours start changing in the trees, there is a crisp in the air and sweater weather is upon us. This weeks H2H Challenge is right up my alley...Signs of the season. You can focus on any season and the signs we would see in that season. Summer pool time, winter snow, fall colours, or Christmas décor...the possibilities are endless for this challenge.

Thinking of you! - AHSC #235

I loved this sketch with the scalloped edges. It made for a sweet dainty card. I used the Mason Jar from our Cricut collection and added some flowers I cut out on my Silhouette Cameo to bring this super easy card together.

Vines & Twine - H2H Challenges

This week at Heart 2 Heart challenges we are looking for anything at all to do with vines or twine. I chose to use twine on my project! Sympathy cards are always a challenge to make and we never seem to make them until we need them, I try to always have 2-3 on hand for those unfortunate situations.

Today I have a Thank you card for you. This one is one of the cards that I made for my Falling for you card workshop. I was very drawn to this diagonal stripe paper, I just love it.

Typically I try to follow the sketch exactly but this one I just really struggled with the diagonal piece. I tried so many variations and nothing was working for me so I scrapped it. That is the great thing about sketches, they can be altered to meet your needs!
