Birthday Wishes

We can never have to many birthday cards so I whipped this up for my birthday card workshop in January. For this card I used our now retired Pemberly paper pack. I love this paper but then again, I am drawn to paper with blue in it for some reason and this pack was full of my favourite blue...Outdoor Denim!

Products used:
Paper:
- Pemberly
- Colonial White Cardstock

Stamps:
- Card Chatter - Birthday
- Intrinsic Backgrounds

Ink:
- Outdoor Denim
- Indian Corn Blue

Embellishments
- Scallop Punch (Stampin Up)
- Bitty pearls
- Art Philosophy

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Celebrate

I am a bit late in posting some cards, they are from now retired papers, but I still wanted to share. This card was designed for one of my workshops, we had a birthday card theme so you will see a few birthday cards in the coming posts. This was from one of my favourite paper packs, I have a thing for dark blue and the Outdoor Denim colour in this paper appealed to me as did its versatility.

Supplies used (all are Close to my Heart unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Pemberly
Cardstock: Outdoor Denim and Colonial White
Ink: Outdoor Denim and Cocoa
Stamp: Artiste Birthday Celebrations
Cricut Cartridge: Artiste
Twine: Top Line Creations
Button: unknown

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Think Spring

Ahhh Spring is in the air, can you feel it in your scratchy eyes, stuffy nose and feel that pounding headache? If you are like me, Spring for all its glory is a double edged sword. I look so forward to the warmer weather, flowers and trees blooming, and the chance to get outside and see nature in all its glory. But then I go outside and nature in all its glory attacks me and my head feels like it is going to explode, my eyes scratch and my nose instantly stuffs up, but it is all worth it. Here in Canada spring is different than in the other areas I have lived it, here spring tends to be on the wet side with a lot of rain and that rain inspired me to make this card as a make and take for a crop I was a vendor at. It was one of two make n takes I did for the event. It was a fun and easy card to make.
