School is here - CAS(E) this Sketch #89

Here is another back to school card (just a few more to come!) I am really enjoying working on these and finding a lot of inspiration in this older retired paper pack. I am really finding these cards coming together so easily, not sure why I am suddenly so inspired by this paper pack, I have had it for a while now, maybe it is just the idea of the kiddos going to school that has me so excited!

Since I had some free time while the munchkins were out at day camp today, I decided to play along with another sketch challenge site since I needed to make some more back to school cards made.  I jumped on over to the Cas(e) this Sketch challenge and came up with this card based on their sketch. Like the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, this one came together super easy.

Just living….

In my continuing effort to branch out and do more challenges, I have done this card for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #56 and to mix things up a bit more this card will also be entered in the Heart 2 Heart challenges. The Heart to Heart challenges are a bit different, while they do offer some sketch challenges they also offer theme challenges and this weeks theme was movement. I have wanted to use this stamp set for the longest time, I love this little bicycle and added the hearts and flowers coming out of the basket to simulate movement.

Warm Holiday Wishes - CAS(e) this Sketch #54

As I previously mentioned I am working on adding more and more sketch challenges to my weekly designs and here is my latest. This was created a few days ago but life got in the way and I am just posting it now. I used the CAS(E) this Sketch #54 and had the card completed in time for submitting to the contest, however, I did not actually get the picture done and posted to my blog in time but I am ok with that, I still met my goal of getting more crafty time in and more cards made so it is all good!

I hope you like this one, again I am drawn to what I consider a country Christmas and very clean and simple. I am not one who likes a lot of bling or froo froo if you catch my drift!

Biggest Fan

I was able to sneak in about 40 minutes in my scrapbook room between play dates and a birthday party that my daughter was invited to so I thought I would see if I could whip up a card and low and behold I was...whoo hoo for me, the mojo is still going; let's hope this creative express I am on continues now that the girls are done with school!

I hope are not getting bored with the Claire paper pack just yet. It is kind of funny, when the Idea Book first came out and I saw it, I liked it but it was not one of my favourites but now that I have it in my hands I just can not get enough of it. I also have the For Always that I hope to start playing with soon, maybe tomorrow I can get some time in the scrap room and I can break that out to mix things up a bit.

This card was made for the CAS(e) This Sketch Challenge. I did not follow the sketch 100% but that is the joy of challenges, you can infuse your creative interpretation into them.
