Paper Hug - BTF Challenge

Time for a card....I made this one for the Some Kinda Wonderful card workshop. I love the stamp set I used for this one, I will admit, I was on the fence about ordering, I wanted it but would I really use it. The fact that it is the Operation Smile set (portion of proceeds goes to Operation Smile) made it easier but would I really use it? Oh my I am using it, this is just the fist of many projects with it, a great investment for a great cause!

Happy Birthday with sprinkles - AHSC #198

Ok today we are back to a Sugar Rush card. I really had fun with this paper and this card. I love the circles with the donut, it all just came together super quickly and the women in my workshop loved it.

Just for you - AHSC #197

Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and have a card that is all stamping. I was inspired by a card from a fellow Close to my Heart Consultant Sarah Poulton. I loved her card so much I just had to step out of my comfort zone and give one a try. Sarah's card can be found here. 

For this card I used a lot of ink colours and two retired stamps:

Ink:

Blossom, Raspberry, Canary, Sea Glass, Fern, and Tangerine.

Stamps:

- C1612 Shower Flowers (retired)

- S1411 it's the Little Things (retired)

I hope you like the card, it really was a step out of the norm for me and for my workshop gals, I had them do this one last night and they loved it and all agreed it was not something they would normally do but had a great time doing it!

Hello Lovely - BF Challenge

Two days is a row, I am on a roll this week getting back into my design team duties! Today I bring another Hello Lovely card from my upcoming workshop which I also designed to work with the Ribbon theme at Between the Folds Challenges. This week the challenge is to use ribbon which is absolutely easy to do when you have this gorgeous rose gold ribbon that works so perfectly with this paper!

This card went together super quick. I used the PML cards that come with the paper pack and matted it with Sorbet and then used Fern for the background paper and embossed it with the retired quatrefoil embossing folder. Added some gold glitter gems and the ribbon and done. I left it black so it could be used for any occasion or as a note card.

I love you - H2H challenges

Happy Monday to you! Today I bring you a card for the H2H challenge group and a sneak peak at my upcoming card workshop. The theme this week at H2H is falling in love and that is exactly what I am doing with this Hello Lovely paper pack now that I am playing with it. It is so soft, sweet and elegant...I am having a lot of fun with it!
