Thankful - H2H Challenges

 Hello and happy Monday! We are now firmly planted November and the cold is settling in and we are in the home stretch for the holiday season and as you have seen from my posts, it is Christmas card season however, before my feed becomes 100% Christmas I do have some other projects to share. 

Our challenge this week from H2H Challenges is Thankful. As we head into November and Thanksgiving in the US, we all have many things to be grateful for. This was a layout I created for my October workshops. I saw the geometric frame and built this layout around it.

Happy Birthday - AHSC 390

Hello! It is good to be back, I have not posted since the first of the month, things (as always) have been uber crazy around here! The kids have been in school for a few weeks but I am seriously struggling to get into a routine and caught up but I am working on it...am I the only one struggling right now? 

Any hoo, it is time to get on with the project for today! I created this card for my Bloom with Grace scrapbooking and card making workshop. The minute I saw these stitched flowers in the idea book I just had to have them and I love how they came out on this card. As I often do, I used the AHSC #390 as my inspiration for this card.

Thankful Heart - AHSC #388

Today I have another card from Bloom with Grace which I am obsessed with! I love the sunflowers and just all of this paper. I will admit it was a bit overwhelming to me in the beginning but as I began to play with it I began to LOVE it!

I was trying to follow the sketch completely with the 3 different squares but as I looked at it like the one long piece and since the sketch is a starting point and we can alter them, I chose to stick with the long piece. It just worked better for what I was after with this card.

Fall Fun - H2H Challenges

Hello and happy Tuesday to you! I am coming to you a bit late this week, my youngest brought home a cold from school and has shared it with me so I am a bit sluggish this week as of course I got it worse than she did, of course I would prefer it this way, just lots to do this week so a pretty inconvenient time...but then again is it every a good time?

Anyway off to art work time! I created this card for the Fall Fun challenge at H2H Challenges and it was one of my workshop cards too!

Hello and Happy Monday! We are now in September and I am super excited to finally get to show off the new goodies that launched with Close to My Heart on September 1st. But first, this weeks challenge....our challenge is called "Wood you rather?" It is open to interpretation but I took it as wood....wood grain paper, my favourites so I am all in for this one!
