Happy Anniversary - AHSC #510

I am back again! This week I have a another card for the AHSC. This was a customer who orders cards from me. I used the Cherish papers which are sadly sold out now. I absolutely loved playing with this paper, it was so beautiful and that made it so easy to play with and so fun. I did have to alter my design from the sketch a bit as the flowers were to big so I had to slide one cluster over and leave the top cluster off.

Get Well Soon - AHSC #509

Today I have another card for you using a sketch from the AHSC. This one is pretty bang onto the sketch, I used the colour theme from the Cherish paper pack but this one is all card stock. The colours are Honey Butter, Mist, Seabrook and Sage. The rectangular scalloped thin cut is from the Cherish collection and the doily was from the Hope and Kindness collection.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker. If you do not have a CTMH Maker and are in Canada I can absolutely assist you in ordering. Canada Hop for July and August idea book

Hello and welcome to the Canada blog hop! Tonight we have consultants from across Canada featuring products from the Close to my Heart July/August Idea Book. If you are joining me from Sabrina at Creating with Crimson you are in the right place!

For tonights project I am featuring a layout I did for my monthly workshop featuring the Wander paper pack. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this paper pack and will be buying so much more of it. I love the cottage, outdoorsy feel of this one. I came up with this S'mores themed layout. I had so much fun making this layout.

I used Linen card stock for the base pages and then added the Sapphire sky like patterned paper to create a night sky type of affect. I added the Sapphire geometric pattern and the camping / hiking print as well.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the title and Marshmallow sticks. The campfire is from the Wander Cricut Collection (you can find it here!) I added some details with stamping on a Stitched Circle and used the Wander card making stamp and thin cut set to stamp the "cheers to s'more years" in the upper right corner and finished it off with some white dots from the Black and White dots embellishments.

Just "Distress Oxide" It - Technique Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the May Technique Blog Hop where we are featuring Distress Oxide Inks as our technique this month. This month we are playing our Distress Oxide Inks. These are new to me so it was fun getting to play with it. If you are joining me from
Darlys Recker you are in the right place. If you are starting here, welcome!

My first project is this layout I created. I used the Tattered Rose Distress Oxide™ Ink Pad
Ink to do some shadowing affects behind the title, in the upper right portion of the left page and lower right portion of the right page. This also features the Hillside Cottage paper with sticker sheet.

On this project I went a bit more bold. I used the Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry and just blended them until I like them, ran it through my die cut machine with the
Floral Background Thin Cut (Z3693) once I was done inking and cutting it, I spritzed it with some water to get a water spotted affect. I added a
Stitched Brackets Thin Cuts (Z363) and used Treasured Memories (D1933) for the flowers and sentiments. I added Clear Sparkles (Z3274).

Here is one of my layouts, Easter Fun. I had a lot of fun with this one and this is a great one if you only have a few scraps to use up.

This was the first layout I created with this paper pack, it is so fun to play with.

I have also made some cards using it too, I definitely have some favourites, that plaid is just beyond, I love the colours in it, I can see using it for so many things and these flowers are just so pretty!

I also love this little bunny, to adorable! I have had a ton of fun playing with this paper pack. I have a few more projects I am working on before I can move onto Eat Play Love, but that is ok because I am loving this paper pack.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker. Winter Wonderful - H2h Challenge

Hello and welcome to my late Monday post! The theme of this weeks challenge for Heart 2 Heart challenges is Black Friday. In the United States this week is Thanksgiving and the day after is known as Black Friday, the unofficial kick off of the Christmas season and the busiest shopping day of the year.

This is a layout I created using the Cedar and Pine paper pack and will be one of my workshop layouts for my upcoming workshop in December.

Products used:

Paper:
- Cedar and Pine
- French White, Peach, and Black card stock

Embellishments:
- Clear shimmer brush
- Clear Sparkles
- Black and White Dots

Silhouette Cameo
- I do not recall the font I used for the Winter Wonderful title or where the snowflakes came from. I am so bad about changing things over and over and forgetting to write down what I used because once I alter it I can not get that info again and I typically alter it.

Hi! Another Monday and another fun project for you! Today I have a layout featuring the Hawthorn paper pack and it is all about the boys...our sons! Well I don't have sons, but my customers do so it is all about their sons! This is one of the layouts I did for my Hawthorn workshop and if there is even a hint of masculine papers I am making it all about the boys as there seems to be so much more paper for girls/women then there is for boys/men.

I am also featuring this as my entry for the H2H design team for the Anything Goes theme this week.

Hello! This week at H2H challenges we are all about all things Pumpkin Spice! So with that in mind, I got to creating and I was so inspired by Crafty Creations with Erin's video series "Easy to Embellished" that I just had to do my version of the cards she made. Hello! Today I am back with a workshop card for you, this card will make its debut at my Hawthorn workshop on Saturday night (well it is making its debut now, but for my workshop ladies, they will get it on Saturday!)

Sweet Girl - Cross Canada Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the Cross Canada blog hop! We are a group of Canadian consultants with Close to my Heart who gather together online each month to share our creations using the featured paper pack of the month which this month is Sweet Girl. If you are coming to me from Sheena, welcome!

For this months project, I have a layout using the Sweet Girl paper and the D1858 Summer Memories stamp set. This layout will be featured in my workshop this month for the Sweet Girl paper pack and while I have all girls so this paper is perfect for me, not all of my customers have girls so I want to show the versatility of the paper. If you want to purchase any products found along this blog hop, please reach out to your local CTMH consultant, if you do not have one I would be happy to help you out with an order!
