So Grateful - AHSC 572

Happy Monday! Today I am bringing you a card for our AHSC. I am in the process of building up my card stash and I use a lot of thank-you cards, so you will see a lot of those in the coming posts.

For this week, I made two cards, the first was the Bon Voyage but it just did not feel right to me, I tried to create a different take on the sketch but it was just missing something so I created the Glacier plaid card and I was more fitting of the sketch.

Thank You Mix In - AHSC 492

Hello! Today I have for you a card I made using the AHSC sketch #492. This was a fun card to do after playing with the fall muted colours of some previous projects I have been working on, I needed bright and cheerful so I pulled out one of my CTMH Mix In paper packs. For the flowers I used the new Floral Blooms stamp and thin cuts (D2119) and I am in love with these flowers, there are so many, I only show two here but there are so many more that I did not use, you can see them all below! The colours I used were Avocado, Lemonade, Nectarine, Flamingo and Black.

Thank You - AHSC 491

Hello! I am back and today I have a super bright and fun card for you. I used the sketch from AHSC #491. I had fun playing with the flowers and the bright colours from the Mix In paper pack and thought they were perfect for the flowers. I used the black to tone down the brightness a wee bit.

I used the stamp and thin cut from the Card Creativity special for National Stamping Month, I am having so much fun playing with this one, I love the sentiments and the flowers. This is available until October 31, 2022 while supplies last.

You're the Best - AHSC #490

Hello ! I am back with another card featuring the Card Creativity special that is going on right now.  For this card I used the current CTMH Mix In paper with some White Daisy and Sapphire card stock. I added the flowers from the Hello Fabulous stamp and thin cut along with the sentiment. I pulled out my Love of Colour book to choose colours that go great with Sapphire and it recommended some older retired colours so I pulled them out and had some fun playing with them, they were Fern (an all time favourite of mine), Raspberry and Goldrush.

As you can see in the sketch the sentiment area is a square not rectangle but I decided to make mine a bit bigger as the flowers I was using were on the larger size and I needed more room for them but that is the great thing about sketches, they are just jumping off points and you can alter them to meet your needs.

Above is the stamp I used for the card; I used the stamp and thin cuts but did not use the stencil as of yet. It is available through October 31, 2022 while supplies last!

Holy Cow - AHSC Sketch 460

Hello! Today I have a card I made for you the AHSC design team and it is one of the cards for my February card workshop.

For this card, I used the now sold out Udderly Wonderful stamp + Thin Cut set. The stamp is available still but the set with Thin Cuts is sold out, sadly. Below is my card and the sketch. I had to flip the card as When I was stamping the sentiment on the inside, I was not paying attention and I had stamped it in the wrong direction...opps...no worries, nothing is glued down yet so just flip it. I felt the card needed a bit more so I added some dots to dress it up a bit. Super simple card but the colouring on the cow gives it some pizzaz if you ask me!
