Easter Blessings - H2H challenge

Hello! Welcome back to my blog, today I have a project for you for the Heart 2 Heart Challenges design team and this week we are all about sponging.

For this weeks project, I did some stash busting and pulled out my retired Daisy Meadows, I need some Easter cards and I just love this paper for Easter, specifically the plaid in this collection.  For the sponging challenge I used my Mint ink and used a stencil to ink on the pattern, it looks like a water background to me. I did Mint ink on Mint paper for a subtle background.

- Mint, Peach and White Daisy card stock

Stamp:

Daisy Meadows - Canada Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Canada blog hop tonight! I am joining in with fellow Canadian Close to My Heart consultants share some of our creations using new products from the March/April 2021 Idea book. You should have come to me from my good friend Michelle Stewart unless you are starting here with me, either way, welcome!

So today I have a few projects for you from our Daisy Meadows collection. I have been working on my monthly workshop so that is what I have been using the most right now.

Here is one of my layouts, Easter Fun. I had a lot of fun with this one and this is a great one if you only have a few scraps to use up.

This was the first layout I created with this paper pack, it is so fun to play with.

I have also made some cards using it too, I definitely have some favourites, that plaid is just beyond, I love the colours in it, I can see using it for so many things and these flowers are just so pretty!

I also love this little bunny, to adorable! I have had a ton of fun playing with this paper pack. I have a few more projects I am working on before I can move onto Eat Play Love, but that is ok because I am loving this paper pack.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker. Altered Wooden Shapes - Technique Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Blog Hop for March. Tonight my fellow CTMH Consultants and I are playing with our wooden shapes and altering them to show you fun and different ways to use them. If you are joining me from Cat Nowak, welcome! If you are starting here at my blog, we are glad to have you join us. If you get lost along the way, just click here to go to the beginning of the hop! And now for the fun!

Tonight I have 2 cards I made. I am loving this plaid paper from Daisy Meadows I need a lot of it in my life!

For this first card I used my Peacock Exclusive Inks and inked up the small wood heart by directly applying the ink to the heart. It is hard to see but I then coloured it with my Peacock shimmer brush to add a bit more colour in the cracks the ink did not get into and to give it a bit of shimmer. In real life it is super sparkly!

On this card, I took one of the hollowed out hearts and adhered it to a scrap of Mint card stock with my Liquid glass. Once that dried I cut the edges of the scrap along the edge of the wood shape. Then I decided to add Liquid Glass inside the heart and fill it up to help give the Mint card stock some shine and a glassy affect. In real life it is super shiny.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker. I had a lot of fun playing and making these cards today. it is now time to "hop" on over to my good friend in scrapping Haley Dyer and see what goodness she has for you today.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Hoppy Birthday - H2H Challenges

Hello and Happy Monday! I feel like it has been a long long time since I have posted here...life is always so crazy busy!

Today I have a card for you for the H2H challenge and our challenge for you this month is called The Midas Touch, it is a colour challenge and we would like you to work the colour gold into your project.

I do not have a lot of gold items but I did find these really old and very retired gold pearls in my stash. I also tried got add a touch of a gold tone with the Sundance card stock banner. I made this card for my 10, almost 11 year old. Her birthday is at the end of March and often falls on or really close to Easter and she loves it, so since she loves bunny cakes for her birthday I thought a bunny card would work too.
