Birthday Penguin

 Hello! Happy Monday and March 1st...March 1st! I am so happy to be done with February and while I know things in Canada weather wise will not change drastically but we are inching our way to better weather and pool season so I will take it!

Now onto the reason we are here, today I have a new challenge for you from H2H challenges. We are now posting challenges twice a month on the First and Third Monday of the month. Today's challenge is a sketch challenge; here is the sketch, it is a free sketch that CTMH put out for Valentines day, isn't it a fun sketch?

And here is my take on it. I got this stamp set called Winter Penguins and just could not wait to use them. I thought this would be a fun one to use it on. I did flip it on its side to make it up and down versus landscape.

Hello! Today I have a card I made for my monthly workshop using the Happiness Lives here. I am sad to say that due to COVID regulations in my area that I am still forced to do porch drop offs and not have my workshops in my home where we can all get together and have a good time together...soon, hopefully soon!

Until then, here is one of the cards I prepped and sent to my workshop participants homes, everything is cut and pre-stamped for them, so really all they have to do is assemble the cards.

Brighten Your Day - H2H Challenges

Hello! Can you believe we are in Mid February already? I am thrilled, I hate February, it is always the coldest and snowiest month where I live and I am a warm weather kinda gal so I am ready for some sunny days for sure! But the one good thing with the cold snowy weather it makes it ok for me to be in side and not feel guilty about wasting away a beautiful day.

Today I have a card for you that I made for the H2H Challenges and our challenge for this week is to Add a border. I created a border by putting a 1 inch strip of patterned paper on each side of the card and layers the Peach and Paprika patterned paper down the centre creating a border on each side.

Jan - Feb new product Canada hop

 Welcome to the Cross Canada Blog Hop now called Canada Blog Hop. Tonight we are featuring projects made using products from the Jan/Feb. Idea Book from Close to My Heart. If you are joining me from Michelle Stewart you are in the right place, welcome!

Tonight I have a project for you that I created for my monthly workshop featuring the Happiness Lives Here paper pack with sticker sheet..I used mostly the stickers from this collections sticker sheet along with some flowers I cut from the Cricut Happiness Lives Here Cricut collection. I added some Blue Belle Glitter Gems.

Here is a card I made using the Winter Penguins and the Mix In paper pack. I coloured the penguins scarf and hat with the Peacock Shimmer brush and the heart with the Red Shimmer Brush from CTMH.
