A Few of My Favourite Things - H2H Challenges

Today I am bringing you a post from one of my design teams, the H2H Challenges and this weeks challenge is all about A Few of My Favourite Things. So we are hoping you will join us and share a few of your favourite projects, embellishments or techniques with us.

Here is what I have....

I chose this layout as one of my favourites for a variety of reasons. First off, I used it to scrapbook pictures of my family at our cottage, one of our very favourite places to go. Cottage Country in Ontario, Canada is absolutely breathtaking and this is from a beach loving Southern California girl! Second, just look at those papers, absolutely stunning. And I lastly, I love the title I created with my Silhouette, I was just learning how to create titles like this and I was so happy with how this one turned out! So that is why this was one of my favourites! Click here to see the original post featuring this paper pack and all the supplies I used to create it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I welcome any and all feedback. If you would like help with purchasing any of the products mentioned my post today, please contact your local CTMH Maker. If you do not have a CTMH Maker and are in Canada I can absolutely assist you in ordering. If you are in the United States, New Zealand or Australia, I can help you locate a Maker local to you for ordering.

Our Happy Place - H2H Challenges

This is a layout I created while I was at the cottage this summer, I scrapped our 2013 cottage trip at the cottage in 2020...lol I decided to take some kits and workshops I had laying around and try to get some stuff done and I did get a lot done, it was awesome to get some stuff done after the kids had gone to bed and in the quiet of the night up there.

I used the PML cards from the Aurora paper pack to create the title, "Our Happy Place" as the cottage is our happy place and while the pictures on the layout do not come out great it was S'mores night at the cottage so happiness all around. Sadly due to a fire ban up there this year, this was the closest we got to a campfire and s'mores this year!

Products Used:

Paper:
- Aurora
- Sage and Peacock card stock

Picture My Life (PML):

Embellishments:

Gnome-body like you - H2H Colour challenge

Hello and welcome to another week and another challenge from H2H challenges. Today I have a card I created using our theme of the week a colour challenge, your challenge, should you accept it is to use the colours Peacock, Sage, Glacier and Saffron on a project together.

So funny story, I knew I was going to be away when this challenge came due, we are social distancing at my in-laws cottage for the week but I came prepared to create, or so I thought. I packed a bunch of my easier projects to work on up here such as Cut Above Kits and the Craft with Heart so I needed minimal supplies brought with but would still be able to get some crafty creative time in too. I also packed a smaller bag with the supplies I would need to create the project for this week and sadly as we were packing the car up, some how that bag never got in there, I thought I saw it but alas it was not there. I did have some scraps of Glacier, Peacock and Sage from an Aurora kit I had been working on so I quickly put together the best I could with literally those card stock scraps, one of the two stamps sets I brought with me and my trusty black ink and micro tip scissors. While it is definitely not one of my best cards, it does show that you can create with minimal supplies.

Paper:
- Aurora
- Glacier, Sage, and Peacock scraps of card stock

Stamp:
- Z3741 Gnome Matter

Ink:
- Black

Embellishments:
- Black and White Dots

Incredible Family - H2H Family Time

Today at H2H we are all about Family and celebrating Family Time with for us in Canada as we just had the official end of the school year this week (though really they have been home for months thanks to COVID-19) and our Canada Day Holiday is on the first of July. These are times of great fun, family bbq's and fun. So in honour of family time I am going back in time and I scrapped this page for our 2013 (I am so behind) album of our Family Time at the cottage. It was so fun looking back at those memories. It was our second time going to the cottage with the girls and they were much braver, comfortable and excited this time around as they knew what to expect, it was so fun watching them grow in excitement and confidence.

For this layout I combined Aurora with some retired products to create the look I wanted.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Aurora
- White Daisy and Evergreen card stock

Ink:
- Peacock and Evergreen

Embellishments:
- Clear Sparkles
- Fresh Air wood shapes (retired)
- Make Waves Sparkles (retired)

Stamps:
- Aurora Scrapbooking
- Fresh Air Scrapbooking (retired)

Let's stay home with Legendary Father - SOTM BH

Hello and welcome to the Legendary Father and Let's Stay Home blog hop! Tonight CTMH consultants from all over are showcasing their artworks using a variety of new stamps available. You likely are joining me from the uber talented Katy Taylor so welcome!

Here are the projects I made using the Stamp sets for the Legendary Father release.

For both of these projects I used the Aurora paper pack. The stamps are CC6205 Legendary Father's Day (on the card) and layout and the CC6206 Someone To Look Up To. I used the Dull Green Blend and Iced Gray Blend of the Tri-blend markers.  Charcoal, Sapphire and Black Tuxedo by Momento inks. The triangle studs are CTMh but retired.

Getting Outside - H2H Challenges

Hello! Welcome to week 10 (where I am) of lock down and social distancing due to
Covid-19.  While I do love to be holed up inside scrapbooking and paper crafting, my kids are struggling with all the changes to our normal routines and that makes it a bit hard to get some crafty time in but the nicer weather we are having is helping as they can play outside so I took advantage of them playing outside with their friends (at a distance of course) riding bikes and just visiting

So I made this layout to celebrate getting outside and enjoying the nicer days we were having.

I have so many ideas and pictures for this layout once my workshop ladies create theirs I will put pictures of the girls on it. I see pictures of them at the cottage running around among the trees and going on adventures.

Products Used:

Paper:
- Aurora with Sticker sheet
- Peacok, Charcoal, Sage, Sapphire, and White Daisy

Ink:
- Evergreen, Charcoal

Stamp/Thin Cut:
- Z3711 Aurora Scrapbooking
